Compared to the traditional fertilizer turning machine, SX in vessel composting equipment adopts vertical structure design, which saves lots of space of the whole organic fertilizer making plan. To reduce the impact of temperature on the fermentation tank, we equip electric heating device to make sure constant temperature fermentation. It makes the machine work even outside or in cold weather. And the composting can be finished in 7-15 days because of the temperature control system. How does the in vessel fermenter work?
At the whole composting process of fermentation tank, fertilizer materials can decompose quickly in 1-2 days after being fed into the machine. Under the action of aerobic bacteria, fertilizer materials can release a lot heat, then the temperature inner the machine can reach up to about 50-65℃. The high temperature can kill pest eggs, glass weeds and make the fermenting bacteria more active. By this way, the fertilizer quality and composting efficiency can be greatly improved. At the same time, with the stirring of mixing blades, the composting can be more evenly.
After 5-7 days of high temperature, the decomposing speed will be slower. Then the temperature can reduce to about 50℃. At last, the fertilizer will discharge automatically. In vessel composting for poultry waste
Poultry manure is the commonest raw material when making organic fertilizer. Composting poultry manures in vessel fermentation tank is also the first choice for most people. But animal wastes may have different features, so how to pre-treat different manures when using fermentation tank?
Cattle Dung Composting in Large Scale Vessel Fermenter
Cattle manure has rich proteins and crude fibers. Its texture is the finest in poultry manure, with about 80% moisture content, cow manure decomposes very slow. When fermenting, it releases few heats, naturally composting costs a lot of time. That’s also the reason why cow manure is always regarded as cold fertilizer.
Before composting cow dung, you can add auxiliary materials, such as straw, sawdust, and peanut shells. These materials can adjust moisture content and C/N ratio of cow dung. Adding moderate powdery auxiliary materials into cattle manure until the moisture reduce to about 50%, and the C/N ratio reach to about 23-28, you can start composting. If you want the process more efficient, it’s also feasible to add fermentation bacteria. But when the temperature inner the fermentation tank up to 70℃, you need to stop the machine to prevent the excessive temperature from killing the bacteria.
Chicken Manure in Vessel Composting
Compared with cow dung, chicken manure has lower fiber content and higher moisture content. In summer, chicken poops moisture content even reaches to about 98%, which makes poor air permeability of chicken manure. To solve this problem, you can also add auxiliary materials. But if you want to dehydrate chicken manure in short time, a solid-liquid separating machine will be helpful. Especially for complete poultry manure disposal factories, dewatering machine is really necessary.
After the moisture content reducing to about 50% by fertilizer dehydrating machine, we recommend you a screening machine to screen out useless materials in chicken dung. Such as feathers, gravels, clods, etc. Screen them out will improve the fertilizer quality even realize pure organic nutrition production.

Dewatering of raw materials: as mentioned above, dewatering can make the fertilizer materials much easier to ferment and decompose. It’s also the important process to reduce time consumption.
Composting in vessel fermenter: when the moisture content of fertilizer materials reduce to about 50%, you can feed them into the fermentation tank. In only 7-15 days, the materials will decompose completely.
Crushing: to make sure the composted organic fertilizer has uniform particle size, we equipped a crushing machine. It can make crush big fertilizer blocks into powders, make sure the fertilizer quality.
Screening: in case to some fertilizers blocks can’t get even crushing, a screening machine is used for screening out the large blocks. The qualified fertilizers can be conveyed to next process, and the unqualified will be crushed twice.
Packing: after all the processes finishing, you can pack the final fertilizer products into bags by automatic packing scale to make the storage more convenient.
