Making compound fertilizer, the products are basically granular forms. And the main difference of different compound fertilizer production line is granulating method.
The first is wet granulating process. In sx, we have three machines used for wet granulating: disk pelletizer, rotary drum granulator and stirring teeth granulator. Stirring teeth granulator is suitable for making organic fertilizer pellets. Making wet compound fertilizer granules, we recommend you to use disk granulator and rotating drum granulator. With high granulating rate and optional capacity, both of these two machines can work perfectly for you.

The second granulating method is dry granulating. Making dry compound fertilizer pellets, you can choose our double roller extrusion granulator. It’s designed for small scale granular compound fertilizer making factory. When granulating, the fertilizer materials moisture content can’t be higher than 20%. With high pressure of two roller sheets, the fertilizer materials can be extruded into high hardness pellets. If you want granules of different shapes, we can customize the roller sheets for you.

NPK fertilizer producing design

In fact, npk fertilizer can be regarded as a kind of compound fertilizer. It mainly consists of three essential fertilizer elements for plants: nitrogen, phosphate and potassium. Making npk fertilizer is also very easy.
At first, you can crush the raw materials into powders. Then mixing them evenly. At the same time, you can add some water to adjust the moisture to about 30%. Then feed the mixed fertilizer materials into rotary drum granulating machine. Adopts wet granulation process, fertilizer materials can agglomerate to granules inner the high speed running drum.

After granulating, the moisture content and temperature of final products may be also unsuitable, which may cause fertilizer sticking or deformation. So the fertilizer drying machine and cooling equipment are necessary. They can reduce the temperature and moisture in a short time.
